The name PRAYAAS FOUNDATION in itself encompasses the mission and vision of our organisation. The acronym “PRAYAAS” stands for – People Rising Against Alcohol and Substance Addiction in Youth.

Our organisation absorbs all simple and complex methods / approaches for Addiction Treatment which have a solid FOUNDATION.

Our theory of treatment is very simple. We precisely rely on 4 approaches i.e.

1. Ayurveda ( which is known to treat the root cause & heal thoroughly )

2. Yoga & Meditation

3. Psychological Counselling (under a trained and experienced Psychologist)

4. Spiritual Healing ( this includes NA’s 12 Step Treatment other than daily Bhajans, Godhuli, Spiritual Enlightenment etc.)

Length of our treatment program is variable depending on

1. Type of Addiction

2. Length or Period of Addiction

3. Daily Frequency of Addiction and

4. Quantity of Daily use.

We truly believe that all kinds of addiction and addicts are unique in their own way and there exists no single magic wand to treat all addicts with it. Every case is unique hence every treatment is unique.

We are very focused on the problem of addiction in middle class and upper class families as they are the worst hit. Problem being the FEAR OF SOCIAL STIGMA. Hence we ensure that the IDENTITY of the PATIENT is never disclosed under any circumstances unless otherwise required by the Enforcement Agencies of The Govt of India.
