VVM Research De-Addiction Centre for Women

In 2008, VVM, which had been treating men for since 1993, opened a de-addiction centre called “Ahalya” exclusively for women. This female centre is a reaction to the rise in addiction among ladies in the country. Women take part in a 30 day rehabilitation program which involves treatment methods which address physical, mental and spiritual needs.

This centre realizes that women who are addicted to drugs face many pressures and problems but they believe that there is hope. Their unique program, based on The Art of Living philosophy offers help to women in West Bengal, Kolkata, and beyond.
