Thakurpukur Prachasta Welfare Society

A drug/alcohol de-addiction and rehabilitation center, Prachasta Welfare Society is a registered NGO. The founder, Tapas Das, runs this society, keeping in mind the problems of family of patients (substance abusers) regarding their inability to pay for the required medicines. Prachasta Welfare Society has done various events such as blood donation camps (yearly), awareness campaigns(regularly), participatory rallies with support from the Thakurpukur Police Station and The Rotary Club Of India. It is also indulged in vocational training.
