PUTHUJEEVAN TRUST HOSPITAL FOR PSYCHOLOGICAL MEDICINE

Puthujeevan Trust Hospital for Psychological Medicine has originated from its mother concern of Puthujeevan Trust Rehabilitation Centre, Nalukody which has been providing services for the past 23 years for the mentally ill, destitute and aged people wandering in the streets without getting proper care and support from their own families and relatives.
Mr. V. C. Joseph, the founding father of the trust, out of his philanthropic mind established Puthujeevan Trust and started works of charity during his service as a police officer in the year 1996. In the year 1999, he voluntarily retired from his service and established a destitute home for the poor. Ever since then, the trust has been carrying out charity activities. In 2012, the Puthujeevan Trust Hospital for Psychological Medicine was established independently to provide scientific and professional care for mental health and de-addiction. The hospital currently offers expert treatment and care for mental illness and addiction.
